TOP JUNIOR HOCKEY PLAYERS SHOWCASED AT COPPS COLISEUM

Residents of Hamilton and area will have an opportunity to see some of the best players in World Junior Hockey in action this December right in their own backyard on December 23rd at Copps Coliseum!
As part of the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championship being held in Ottawa, nine communities across Ontario will be hosting pre-competition camps and exhibition games for the ten teams competing.
The Ontario Government invested $2 million in order for Hockey Canada to host the 2009 World Junior Hockey Championships to promote sport and provide economic benefits to local communities.
Tickets for the 2009 World Junior Championship taking place in Ottawa from December 26 – January 5 are sold out, but Hamilton and area residents will have a chance to see Canada and Slovakia compete as they prepare to face the best teams from around the world.
